Post Study Visa to work and stay in America
The international students studying in USA mostly have 'F-1 Student Visa'. This visa means that you can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) after successfully completing your studies. This gives you a legal right to stay in the US for upto 1 year to look for a job and apply your knowledge to a job gained through your study program.

International students must apply no later than 60 days after your program end date to avoid any trouble on your visa extension right.

Part Time Job
International students holding F1 Visa are legally allowed to work on campus part time upto 20 hours during their study period.
